Photographers in Reynisfjara

Reynisfjara is the frame clients arrive already wanting: jet-black sand, the hexagonal basalt columns of Garðar stacked like organ pipes, the Hálsanefshellir cave arching over them, and the Reynisdrangar stacks standing in the breakers. Shoot into the stacks at sunrise, when the beach is emptiest and the light comes from the land; puffins nest on the cliffs above from May to August as a long-lens bonus.
